In May of 2014 the Saint Louis Rams drafted Michael Sam, a openly gay football star from the University of Missouri. He's the first openly gay professional football player. On the day he was drafted into the NFL he kissed his current boyfriend on live television, sending social media into a explosion of comments. Most comments were supportive of him and his lifestyle. Great to see that America can embrace a good human being, not just a gay man.
