In May of 2014 a video was released by TMZ.com showing Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Beyonce's younger sister Solange Knowles in a elevator in a New York hotel. Upon entering the elevator Solange was obviously furious with Jay-Z for reasons unknown because she attacked him with multiple swings to the face and even kicked him multiple times. She had to be restrained by Jay-Z's bodyguard who was also in the elevator with the three. Solange has publicly announced her love / obsession with Jay-Z's one time enemy Nas. Maybe the tension comes from that...but who knows.
